Get Tested for Influenza Today

If you need to know if you, or someone in your household or workplace is contagious, and if it’s safe for you to be around vulnerable family members or work colleagues, simply schedule a 5-minute, lab-verified flu test today.

Influenza (Flu) cases are rising throughout the country, with more increases expected as the weather gets cooler and forces return to indoor activities. Influenza will cause respiratory symptoms, similar to COVID-19 and other pathogens. The influenza virus can cause significant illness – including a need for hospitalization and sometimes death – in elderly people and children, as well as in persons with pre-existing lung- and heart disease. In addition, all persons with chronic illnesses and with immunosuppression are at risk for more severe disease.

Consider getting tested for influenza if you, a family or co-worker have respiratory symptoms but are negative for COVID-19. You owe it to yourself, and we all have a responsibility to protect vulnerable people around us. Don’t become the source of an infection, sickness and hassles for others. Please test early in the course of your symptoms, so treatment can be prescribed by your health care provider early enough to make a difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our Flu A/B test provides RT-PCR-level accurate results, meaning you can have 94-97% certainty that your results are correct. For comparison, a typical home influenza test can have accuracy as low as ~50%.

Talk to your care provider about next steps, particularly if you are immunocompromised or have several risk factors. Stay home if possible and mask up.

Your health care provider can prescribe medication to shorten the course and severity of your case of influenza, but only if it is prescribed early in the course of the illness. This is one more reason to test early.

We only use best-in-class RT-PCR technology for rapid results in just 30 minutes. The test has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA and is ideal for reliable results in a short timeframe.

We also provide best-in-class COVID testing, 4-Plex (Covid, RSV, Flu A&B) testing, gastrointestinal  testing, and more.

Take a look at our home page for information on more testing options.

How are breath tests relevant with patients with IBS?2024-04-24T15:54:10+00:00

According to our CMO and board-certified gastroenterologist Dr. Martin Hahn, IBS is typically a diagnosis of exclusion, requiring other conditions to be ruled out before arriving at a diagnostic decision.

35 – 70 million people have been diagnosed with IBS in the US alone. 50% of these and others who are suffering from chronic gut health issues are likely to have SIBO or Lactose Intolerance.

“A breath test to rule out SIBO should be among the first tests done for those with chronic GI symptoms.” Dr. Lenhardt, (AllClear Healthcare Scientific Advisory Board member).

What’s the difference between a PCR and an antigen test?2022-07-27T16:46:29+00:00

Molecular (PCR) tests are looking to detect the genetic material inside a SARS-CoV-2 virus particle that causes COVID-19. PCR tests work using a technique called a polymerase chain reaction, which uses a machine to run a series of reactions that convert RNA into DNA, and then make millions of copies of the DNA to magnify it and test it.

Antigen tests, on the other hand, detect proteins — otherwise known as antigens — from the surface of the virus particles in people infected with the coronavirus. For simple strip-based antigen tests, the method is similar to the one used in pregnancy tests that work by mixing the test with a solution that breaks open the virus, freeing specific proteins. The more sophisticated antigen test that AllClear uses utilizes microfluidics to detect the proteins, such as immunofluorescence.

How much does each test cost?2022-07-27T16:47:02+00:00

The price of our antigen test is $85.
